Anybody know a good way to remove the grille bowtie on a 2000?

If your asking about the gold bow tie in the center of the grill its a piecs of cake. All you have to do is remove the plastic shroud then reach down behind the grill and you will find a couple nuts, dont recall the size right off hand, just remove those 2 and presto! Replace the new one just the opposite way.

take off the plastic shroud on top of the radiator, reach behind the grille and squeeze the tabs on the bowtie. Hold your hand in front of it so it doesn't drop to the floor. All you will need for tools is a flathead screwdriver to remove the tabs on the radiator shroud.

I just used a flathead screwdriver from the front. Slide it in on the side of the bowtie and press inward a little to release the tab and it comes right out. Didn't even lift the hood.
