You computer can't handle a cam like this. Besides, your heads can't take that much lift unless you have the valve guides machined down and change the springs.

The computer can handle it. It wont idle right. You will need some tuning (LS1Edit). Stock springs shoud go when you swap the cam anyways. Get comp 918 springs, titanium retainers and you should be fine. There are lots of people running a bigger cam than that with no problems.

You can get some 918's and not have to worry about any machineing, but plan on changing the springs out about every 13k miles.

Just curious what method do you plan to use to hold up the lifters?

Secret..... Im gonna use some specially set up magnets to hold them. Did it in a friends TA when we put his cam in. Worked like a charm. Might go dual-stage springs. I havent had anybody tell me they only got 13K out of a set of springs.
