2006 Silverado Stereo

I recently picked up a 2006 Silverado 1500 and it has some cheap Chinese stereo head unit in it, and it’s absolutely terrible. I’d like to change back to an OEM GM head unit from the same era, the truck has the Bose audio package. I know GM used multiple different head units during the production of the 99-06 GMT800s, including one with a tape deck. Is there a specific head unit I have to use? Or can I use any GM Delphi head unit? I’d ideally like to find one with a tape deck so I can use a tape-aux adapter.

 

My truck has the standard connector and co-axial cable, I know the Tahoe’s/Yukon’s have another connector.
