Front end accident and sensors

So my wife rear ended a car and smashed the front bumper of my 2014 Sierra 1500.  Until I get this fixed, is there a way to disable the park assist sensors in the front besides hitting the switch.  Can I unplug these for the time being?

Nope the switch is the only way. My dad backed into me a while back and the body shop forgot to plug them back in after they replaced the bumper. The only thing I could do was hit the button until I could get it back in the following week. Sucked because it disabled all the sensors...

Can't the system be turned on and off in the settings through vehicle Personalization . Under settings/Vehicle/Collision/Detection on the info screen.

Start watching at the 1:20 mark

I think he will still get the warnings that there's a malfunction. There was nothing I could do with mine. It must have done a system check at start up...
