Yea it is. I wish that it was mine. They were discontinued back in the early 90's. It has a real ladder frame. It is a fully functional remote control Truck. It is the Tamiya Bruser/Mountaineer/Hillux/Blazing Blazer, and Ford F150. Those are all the bodies and different suspension hights that the frame came with. I have looked on Ebay for the kit but in working order that are anywhere from $300 for a really beat truck to $600 and I have seen $800 for new in box never built. Pretty reduculouse if you ask me. But hey if I had the cash I would buy it.

Tamiya does make nice models. I just wish I had the patience to build them, lol.

For years I looked for the AMT '93 Ranger STX and scored big when I found an original promo version (much more valuble than the store bought assembly model) for $9, in the original box, still tied down. I have seen trucks like the one I have sell for anywhere from $20-$40. I also just bought a '93 F-150 promo in the original box with the original stickers which still have not been applied. $8 for that one (have seen it for $26).

Hey Paco the models aren't that bad at all. They are easier to put together than the plastic ones. But the painting of thebodies is where it really gets difficult. I have about 7 Tamiya Rc trucks built. They are rather easy now. But I want to build a nice realistic RC now. I would love to build a latter frame Tahoe but I can't find any Tahoe Bodies. Gueass I wil have to go for something else. But after this winter I hope to find something nice. Here is th link to where I found the RC pics.

Ah yes. The painting can be a pain in the Arse. I have an air brush and I can do a few things but i still stink at it. I like the Lexan bodies cause you paint the inside and walla. Instant shine.
