UncleFrank Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Hey guys. Ive got a 2005 2500 6.0. A little back story, I had the brakes, rotors, calipers replaced about 5k miles ago and replaced the front left wheel bearing about 1k miles ago. Last week the I started hearing squealing from the front left wheel and the wheel was getting much hotter than the rest of the wheels. The caliper was rubbing so I replaced the caliper and flex line. Im still getting a lot of heat from the left front wheel. When I touch the caliper and the bracket those are not hot.... The wheel is the only thing that is getting very hot. Could this be the wheel bearing? What else should I be looking at?
casey.mikl Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 If the brakes are not hot but the wheel is. My guess would be a wheel bearing issue. Jack the truck up and check for play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
