Adding in a package after purchase

So if one wanted to add in the safety package and bed protection package that is offered for the silverado 2019 after they already bought, is this something you can go back to the dealer to add?

 

I know adding a bed liner after market would be simple enough, but I am curious about exact packages from chevrolet.  Thanks in advance for the help.

Nope. As a rule, if the part/ option isn’t sold separately on the GM accessories website, a dealer isn’t going to be willing or even able to add it.

 

As you said, bedliner is easily solved aftermarket. GM also sells the rear fender liners if your truck didn’t have those.

 

As far as the safety package and most other electronic gizmos, no. But eventually it may be something you can add yourself once people have figured out what’s all involved.
