Spray in bed-liners

Looking for some feedback regarding the different "spray-in" manufacturers and fading/erosion. I’m down to Line-X or Rhino-linings. But I will NOT be installing any type of tonneau/fiberglass cover. My truck stays out all the time. Is there any chipping/cracking/flacking/fading involved ???? Any input would be greatly appreciated

I had Line-X sprayed in my truck about 2 months ago. I can't say much about fading/erosion yet, but otherwise it's great. The guy that sprayed it said so long as you hose it out every time you wash your truck (1x per week), it will stay shiny for a long long time. He claimed they dull b/c the dirt and grime gets into the cracks and grinds around. A load of BS?? I don't know, we'll have to wait and see. He also said the special "Line-X protectant" stuff is a waste of money.

I`ve got Line-X sprayed over the rails on my `03 and my tonneau doesn`t cover it on the rails. In 7 months I haven`t noticed any fading whatsoever. I have applied 303 protectant to it a few times

Mine came from the dealer with a spray in liner. I have no idea what type it is, but so far I have no problems.... no chipping, no fading, no denting....i've thrown just about everything in the back without a thought....well I kinda lied, I threw some cynderblocks in there and before I did I thought about it, but I just tossed it in just to test it out, and the block broke.....the liner didn't......GOOD STUFF

Got an arma liner sprayed over the rails on my 03 farm truck . have had it since april with no fading of the liner at all (and its parked out in the sun and is driven and worked in dusty conditions all day)

We have LineX bedliners in both our pickups and works like a charm. Even a pallet loaded with like 1700lbs of wood pellets (for horse bedding) didn't do more than a smear on it which just wiped right off with a wet rag... I do admit at first I was a little leery of them in general compared to the drop in but now would not have anything else.

Unfortunately I didn't have the bed rails done so need to get a plastic protector for them too.

I have Perm-A-Tech spray-in, and absolutely love it. Very durable, and is slightly 'stretchy' which makes it a good non-skid surface. You can get it color matched to your truck, which is especially nice if you're not going to put a cover on the bed.

i'm on my 2nd line-x (2 different trucks) and wouldn't have any other. i originally wanted rhino, but then i saw the texture of them, and it just wasn't what i wanted. i'm sure both brands are very tough, i just preferred the texture of the line-x. also, from my experience, they're not gonna stay shiny like they are when you pick them up. as stated, i've had 2, and both of them have lost some of the luster since i got them. it's really not a big deal, i would go buy another one right now if i had to. also, it's not like it fades from black to gray-just less shiny. i have never used any kind of protectant or washed it regularly, so that might help.

BTW all other brands of liners also lose shininess after UV exposure. just go look and see what texture you prefer, both brands are probably reliable.
