Bose sub replacement

I know nothing about this yet but found it by accident today, it is a replacement sub for the terrible Bose sub in the center console.  JL Audio C5-525c-rp is supposed to replace the Bose sub. I have the Kicker sub but still can hear the Bose sub and I hate it. The only thing stopping me is I have read you have to remove both front seats to remove the console. It’s $179 from Crutchfield. I think I might have to try it if I can borrow a garage to stay dry and cool when I remove the front seats.

Any updates on the sub swap? I thought the Bose sub was 8 ohm or is that just the door speakers?
