touchscreen in 2019 Chevrolet Silverado malfunction

I bought my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado one week ago.  It currently has 440 miles on it.  Earlier today the touchscreen malfunctioned and the back up camera would not display.  I turned off the engine for a few minutes and then things went back to normal and it seemed to function ok.  However, this is totally unacceptable!  The truck is one week old!  Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?  Does anyone have a similar experience?  Thanks.

I just had this happen today as well.  3000 miles on the truck.  After a couple hours it was back to normal.  It was half black, half garbled, so seemed more like an actual hardware failure...then it came back all of a sudden.  

 

I made an appt with the dealer before it came back to life.  I'm still going to talk to them but I probably wont bring it in if it doesnt happen again.

Mine did the same around 500 miles on the truck. Replaced backup cam assembly under warranty and all is good.

It’s a pain but really no big deal. Sometimes parts are bad.

I'm having the same problem with my 2019 Silverado. The screen does not work. The other day when I parked the radio would not shut off even when the key was out and the door was opened an door closed. I could still hear the radio playing as I walked away. The lemon law in connecticut say after 4 attempts to repair you can act on the lemon law process. Something to think about!
