Throttle response

Yes but....
The pe pedal delay and settings will delay power. You are 100% correct about to save the trans. This is why I push the trans tune so much.
For those that don't know this is a compare file so first you see stock second is the same fields in one of my tunes. Nothing wild. It is more of a babysitter for over pedaling it.

I’m curious as to why your bringing PE in as low as 30 something percent throttle with no delay . I’m new to tuning and haven’t messed with power enrichment much

A few reasons.
1. We sometimes do things to a extreme level so we can see them in data. Like disable torque management so we know it isn't messing with the tune the data log then go back and enable it and see that it adapts to.
2. It easier to mess with the trans and torque management
3. It is turbo so I want all the load i can get.
4. On this setup I have other items disabled for the 2 step and launching. And playing with the insane idea of roll race with the brake pedal and the gas pedal and that lets it go to 2step on a roll. Brakes glow fire out exhaust then let off brake and it really moves out. To do this without the pcm and tcm having a issue has been a challenge. Truck has stabilitrac and moded traction control. But it can still step sideways.
Basically I want a real pedal that let's me control throttle %. No babysitter. But also easy to drive with the rpm low. Finding a balance is always the hardest part.
Once you are happy with pe double check your ve tables and afr.
