2000 Chevy silverado

I have a 2000 Silverado 5.3. My problems are: Hesitation/Poping/ “falling on its face” when accelerating only when the truck sits for a couple hours. (Back from work, school, etc..) the truck only does it sometimes. It isn’t very consistent. Haven’t checked for codes, fuel pressure test, haven’t done anything. When it’s falling on its face it does it for about 5-8 seconds maybe then it wakes up and runs perfect.

That is a symptom of a bad or just dirty MAF sensor
