AC Fan Noise

If your AC fan starts making an annoying growl, it is likely a leaf snuck past your cabin air filter and into the fan.

 

You can go through the annoying process of removing that big panel in the footwell, or you can just follow the procedure for changing the cabin air filter.

 

Once the filter is out, if you look in the slot it came from, you can see the fan.

 

Get your air nozzle put on your air compressor and blast it real good in there.

 

Noise is gone.

 

So if you have really broad shoulders like me, you can do this instead of contorting yourself in the footwell.
