Seat warmers

Now that the weather is getting colder, when I turn on my seat warmer, it stays on for less than a minute and turns off. I can tell that it starts to warm up before it shuts off, this happens on the passenger side as well. This is on a 2006 Sierra Denali. Any suggestions would be helpful.

The heating pads in my 02 leather bucket seats seem to have relatively thin heating element wiring.   The older your truck, the more you sit in the seat and start to wear it out.   In mine there is so much movement and the wires get kinked up 
 

Sounds like your pads are wore out.

Yeah, I don't believe that's the problem. As stated in the original post the passenger seat does the same thing, and there is very rarely anybody in the passenger seat. They come on and start to warm up then goes off by itself.
