Correct usage of HVAC

I am not a big fan of using the AUTO setting... it takes a toll on the actuators as they continuously adjust the warm are mix.

I live in Central Florida and it's hot pretty much all the time.

On the cold spells we get, I deal with it. No AC. I refuse to use heat. Messing with your temp knobs to get some specific temperature makes things work that I don't need worked, and since I only care about cold air in the cab, I don't even play that game.

My wife played with temperature in her Traverse with our recent cold spell and now an otherwise flawless AC randomly will blow full hot at startup.

I warned her to leave it alone, if it's cold, turn off the AC. Wear a jacket. Don't start using modes you've never used, that invites problems.
