2017 Silverado 1500 headlights

Hopefully someone on here can help me! I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 with factory HID projectors and have come across an issue recently! My passenger side projector will turn off and on going over bumps. I’ve taken it to the dealership where the code is saying headlight mother board malfunction! Nothing wrong with HID bulb cause I have tested it! Vehicle has 52k miles and nothing is covered under warranty, has anyone else had this problem?

You could replace both headlight projectors with Morimoto D2S 5.0 projectors and HIDs. 1/3 the cost of just one new headlight! Email me at [email protected] if you have questions. Happy to help you.

Did you try switching the left and right side to see if it stays with bulb?

 

if it was a “motherboard” issue, it’d be odd for a single light to have the issue

Yes I have, these headlights have control boards built inside the headlight housing! One plug system that runs the HID and the DRL. As far as I know that’s what I’ve been told
