2020 Duramax 2" Lift...

I just bought a 2020 1500 Duramax and I'm having the dealership put the 2" Trailboss factory lift on it. Anyone else out there done this and if so what are your thoughts on it? Did the mpg change drastically? I anticipate it to drop from 28-30 to 23-27ish??

Apples and oranges but those are roughly the same numbers I got when I lifted my ram 1500 eco diesel. Tires make a huge difference too.

  Hey gang, I’m in the market for a 2022.5-and-up 1500. My budget is $48k–$50k max. I’ve been doing a lot of reading on the 5.3L DFM issues, and I want to make sure I don't buy a truck with pre-existing lifter damage. My plan is to plug in a DFM disabler the day I bring it home to help mitigate future issues. I know a plug-in disabler doesn't change the physical lifters, but I'm just looking for maximum preventative insurance. Besides the obvious lifter ticking on a cold start, what other warning signs should I be looking or listening for during a test drive? Are extended warranties worth it for an issue like this? This will be the most I've spent on a vehicle, so I want it to be worth it! I appreciate any advice or insight!

  I'd be interested to hear from a real user too. There are so many things the built-in screen does that I am sure they won't tell you if they break anything. Like trailering, for example. When you hit the turn signal with a trailer attached, my 2021 shows me a side view that is as good as an extended towing mirror. I would not want to give that up. Sure, the factory screen is diminutive by 2026 standards, but giving up functions like that would be a dealbreaker.
