4x4 problems

I have a 2000 Chevy 2500hd Ls. This is the older classic body style. Truck started out as a 350 vortec with an automatic transmission and push button 4wd. Got rid of All that and replaced it with a rebuilt 454 a rebuilt nv4500 5 speed tranny and got a newer transfer case from a donor truck. Finally got it all put back together and running right. Besides the odometer speedometer and 4x4. I’m almost 100% sure I’ve got everything plugged back in and replaced actuator but still nothing any ideas?

  So, you're not a fan of doing electrical testing?
- 2023 GMC Canyon Elevation with 55K miles. Having trouble with Front and Back door actuators. I have replaced the driver side door and passenger back door actuators already. Now I'm having a problem with the driver side door again.

  have you considered it's an electrical problem, that you just temporarily fixed by moving the wiring and/or cleaning off the connector by disconnecting/connecting it?

  you might wish to use the right bolts, and may need to replace the nuts, if you prefer the seat stays in place in the event of a collision.

  The proper socket for them is e-torx And yes, they go through to the underside of the body, so it's better if you clean off the parts sticking out as best you can prior to removing them, to reduce the chance of wrecking the nut welded to the cab, as it sucks to weld a new one to it.
