2019 Silverado infotainment

Just wondering... A few months ago I traded my 2017 LT All Star for a 19 LT All Star. Besides no fog lights, Sirius XM, or rear wheel well liners I've also noticed lack of text message notifications. The 17 had them and read them and had voice recognition to reply to them. Is this an upgrade that can be done at the dealer?  I like the truck but have been a bit disappointed about the lack of the above. I did gain an 8 speed transmission, heated steering wheel and remote release tailgate but I thought all the other stuff would be standard. I knew about the fog lights before purchase but didn't really take into account the rest. Had to turn in the 17 off lease and this truck was an even swap out payment wise.... But man.... A lot of changes. Anyway... If anyone know about the software.... Let me know!

The Text Message App came with vehicles built before 2/2019 and after that GM discontinued the installation of the text app. If you do a search, you will find a thread that describes this exact problem and how you might convince GM to provide the APP for you. GM thinks that Android Auto or Carplay will suffice.
