I am new to this site. I am searching for answers on EXACTLY where to find the THIRD BRAKE WIRE. I am in the process of installing led lighting for several functions and this THIRD BRAKE WIRE is another wire I can not find. ALSO is this THIRD BRAKE WIRE located in or near under hood fire wall. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

The THIRD BRAKE WIRE will be connected to the third brake light, located at the top, rear of the cab.  There will be two wires going to it, one power, and one ground.  Choose wisely.

Want a quick and easy and reversible connection to the CMHSL, did it to activate the built in brake light on my '16 sports bar. Simply place a fuse tap on the CMHSL fuse (under hood fusebox in the '16) to get the positive and any metal ground to complete the circuit. Tap gives you the choice of operating both simultaneously or just the new tap.
