14-18 rear bumper swap 08-13 silverado

figured I would do a write up on my rear bumper mod. you can swap a full rear bumper from a 14-18 on a 08-13 Silverado. but you have to swap you trailer hitch and mod/gently persuade the corner bracket to fit the bed corners on the 08-13 bed. it is pretty much a simple bolt on swap. I used a draw tite hitch part number 44703

Did the standard 2014 trailer plug, plug right into the harness on the 08 or did you have to get a special one? Just did the swap on my 08 and wasn't sure if the 14 plug would plug in to my harness

Did you use the stock 07-13 brackets or the newer ones?
