Replaced Instrument Cluster

I replaced a 2007 Yukon Instrument Cluster with a 2008 Denali Instrument Cluster. It seems like it's working other than a few issues. The tire pressure isn't being displayed but the light is not on. The oil life remaining display isn't reading. And, when it's turned on it states there service suspension system. Am I not able to switch to a Denali Instrument Cluster or is there something I can do to fix these issues?

I know with the GMT800's, the instrument panel (IP) is programmed/configured for the specific options the truck has, such as DIC display, 4wd light, driver settings (Driver 1 vs driver 2), stuff like that.  I would expect the GMT900 IP's to be similarly customized to the specific truck.

Unfortunately modules haven’t been mix and match since the 90’s

The instrument cluster is it’s own module and needs to be programmed to the vehicle

This is why you are having trouble

Hope this helps

I have to get the odometer programmed. When I send it in to get programmed can they program it to fit my vehicle with my VIN? If I have to buy a new cluster can you tell me which years would be compatible?

I have no clue what they can do with it, I replace them with new GM OEM parts and program it using my own GM software and scanner.

Some other DIY-ers on here may be of further assistance in that area!
