I don't know of a way to do this, but it's possible it could be turned off with a dealer scanner or by someone with the skills and equipment to adjust the parameters in the module. I'd try talking to a tech at your local dealership or if you have a shop that does tuning on gm trucks in your area.

If that doesn’t work maybe GTPrix? He does quite a bit of programming, he should be able to.
