Hard Starting Issue Fixed!!!!

I have been having a problem starting my truck after it sits for awhile. I replaced the Fuel Filter, regulator, and pump. Still had the issue. Finally I gave up and took it to the dealership. Come to find out is was leaking around the regulator, appearantly one of the o rings was not seated properly. The factory one must have been bad, and I didn't install the new one properly. Is there a procedure for this? Either way it is finally fixed!!

My truck had the same issue. I took it to the dealer, (it is also a 2001) and they said there was something out regarding 2001's and the hard starting. They said the throttle body had some carbon deposits in it. They cleaned it out, updated the computer with the latest program, and put an additive in the fuel. This was about 6 weeks ago and I haven't had a problem since.

The problem I was having is that my truck would be hard to start after it sat for over an hour. The issue was it was loosing fuel pressure when it sat. If I would turn the key twice to let the fuel pump build up pressure, it would start fine.
