2012 GMC Sierra Gauge Cluster Issues

I have been searching through the forums trying to find information on a problem that I am having. I have a 6 gauge cluster for my truck. When the vehicle is off the gauges will move from there resting position up about a quarter inch, stop, then go back down. They do this to the point it drains the battery. I tried a different cluster and I don't have the issue. Is this a common defect in these clusters? Otherwise the cluster works fine, all gauges function. Any help or input would be appreciated.

Like everything else in life, things wear down over time, can't defeat the Law of Entropy!
