Here is what I want to do to my 'hoe when I get some extra cash:

3" body lift

Front Torsion bar crank

305/75R17 Goodyear MT/R's

Chrome/Stainless Bull Bar

Cold air intake

And since I am a volunteer firefighter:

Strobe package

Light bar

Siren

Radio

Just some ideas.

Congrats on the new ride- we LOVE our '03 Yukon. 5,300 miles so far since we bought it on September 12th.

My wife has an 03 Z71 Tahoe (white) and loves it.

She's going to love it even more once we put on the 10" lift and a set of 36" Truxus STS.

I drove her 03 and that's what made me want to get my 04 Crewcab. Awesome!!!

Oh yeah, mine's getting the 10" lift too. I'll post pics as soon as they're lifted.

Just got a new 2003 Hoe! Summit white 5.3 Z71 Dont know what mods to start with................hmmmmmmmm......

Don't know what KIND of mods you're into, but I did some sublte (maybe some aren't so subtle) mods to my '02 Z71 Tahoe...

Interior:

-Denali "wood" window switch plates and dash bezel

-Escalade gauge cluster

-Escalade control knobs

These items really changed the look of the dash to a darker, rich look. I love it. And it's not flashy.

As for the exterior, I did the following:

-Tint on front windows to match the rears

-Escalade "smooth vent corners" (called "appliques" by GM)

-Painted the vent corners to match the body

-Ford keys, and cranked the front up to level out the truck

I also added an K&N filter, but that's no big deal.

The difference that the leveling, front tint, and painted smooth corners made to the truck are just amazing! With the tint, the truck looks "complete" now, and is not visually broken-up by the difference in the windows. The leveling makes the stance more bold (and feels good as far as handling goes). And the painted smooth corners make the truck look longer (and just better!).

These mods have set my truck apart from many others without it looking junked-up, too flashy, or silly (I believe)...

...So far. The mods never end, do they?

Those Z71 Tahoes do look nice! I guess that over size roof rack does the trick to stand them off from the regular Tahoes.

Congrats on the Hoe!!!

We just picked up the wife a '04 Z71 Hoe in Black in Sept. She loves it! She wanted white, but when we went down to buy they didn't have any. Couldn't locate any from other dealers either!

Anyway, her second choice was black. The only things wrong with it so far is that it attracts finger prints from the kiddos!
