I have a 1990 5.7 stepside Sierra 1500

700r4 transmission. Lost its reverse. All forward gears and neutral.

I stripped the pump body cleaned and flushed replaced gaskets rebuilt new fluid.

Still no reverse. Anyone out there had similar problems, any ideas how yo fix.

  Get a code reader that can scan for airbag system codes and start there. Codes give you clues/diagnostic points.
