6L90 strange noise on accel downshift (kickdown)

Hi, I need some help or some direction with a transmission noise I am experiencing . Vehicle is a 2008 Silverado 2500hd with a 6L90 transmission .I am experiencing a strange noise when the transmission downshifts on acceleration (kickdown), the best way I can describe it is a very quick ratcheting type noise as soon as it shifts, the noise is only present for a split second and can be heard around the transmission area closer to the front ... possibly torque converter. It doesn't happen all the time and it seems more frequent under light acceleration rather than heavy acceleration. I have searched the internet / forums for answers but there doesn't seem to be anyone who has had a similar noise . I would appreciate any insight into the matter . thanks !
