High Output Alternator

Can anyone confirm installing a High out put alternator (250 amp or greater) on a 2019+?

 

Mechman says he didn't do any R&D yet and Power Bastards says he had one guy purchase one for a 2019, and hasn't heard back.

 

Kinda want confirmation before dropping ~$500.

 

Need for a soundqubed 2200D Amplifier. Ran the 0 gauge already. Just need to spice up the trucks power supply a bit.

From my research, on a 2019 sierra SLT crew 5.3L, I have a 150 amp stock.

Would the 220A one that GM offers as an option suit your needs? (RPO is KW5)

 

Standard alternator (rpo KW7) on 2019/2020 1500 is 170A

 

The order guide shows restrictions on what vehicle/engine combinations permit the 220. but if the parts are in the system....
