2020 custom trail boss...shift solenoid

Hi All!! Since yesterday I’ve been having a new issue. My truck, which just cracked 5k miles, doesn’t like to shift out of park. I apply the brake as normal and sometimes the lever won’t come forward. It takes playing with it a few times to make it worse. Also, the clock noise isn’t consistent....some loud, some soft, some non-existent. What does everyone think!??? I’ll be calling the dealer tomorrow but was curious if this has happened to anyone and I what fixes worked for them. Thanks!!

Just had mine fixed for this.  I was stuck once for five minutes at a store trying to get it out of park.  They need to replace the shifter and the bolts.  They shifter was in stock but the bolts were on backorder and required to be replaced all once for it to be covered under warranty.  Took them about a week and a half to get the bolts.  Invoice said it was TSB 20-NA-019

Thanks for the help! I’ll mention this tomorrow when I call the shop. I like this truck but it seems that little by little things are creeping up and it’s only been 5k miles. I never owned a Chevy before to know if this is normal but so far I’m starting to begin to question my purchase

You're welcome.  Mine started at 1k.  Yeah it can be frustrating having things happen on a new vehicle, but I would rather have them happen in the beginning while it's under warranty.  I have had quite a few silverados in the past and they always have been solid trucks.  I took a gamble on this one since it has the new 3.0 Duramax since it's a new engine design.  So far it has been solid and I hope that continues to hold true.
