Another 4L60E Question

Hello-New to forum and learning a lot. Just bought a 98 Chevy Z71 with 71,000 miles. The truck has the 5.7 and 4L60E. So far I'm quite happy. This truck was previously owned by a G.M. mechanic. The only thing I've noticed, is that I hear a distinct "click" when the transmission shifts from second to third. The trans. fluid and filter was changed before I bought it and the fluid level is normal. The trans. fluid smells normal. The trans. seems to shift o.k. What causes this "click" and is it an easy fix?

More details please. Is it under light throttle, full throttle, cold, warmed up...stuff like that.

Thanks for the reply. I will take closer note of when this click occurs. I know it's light to medium throttle because I have not driven it hard yet. I'll let you know if the transmission is cold/hot or both. I understand that these transmissions are electronically controlled. Could I be hearing a servo or switch actuate? Perhaps this click is normal? Thanks to all-Lou.
