01 Tahoe electrical problems

I have a 01 Tahoe, and it had a small electrical problem. I noticed the shifter was hitting a cut out wire, but one night I moved the shifter and it completely shorted out my a/c controls, tow/haul button, windshield wipers, the “PRND321”/miles and my gas fuel gauge. Any help on what might have fried or what. Please and thanks!

If you are lucky, just a fuse blew.  Fix where the short is, replace the fuse, and you are good to go.

 

If wire/insulation melted, then you are in big trouble.

Thanks for the reply! I’ve fixed the wire already, and I even checked all my fuses. All the fuses are good. Problem still persist
