Short Term Future for Blazer?

My son changed his mind and decided he wants to buy a new 4wd 2-door Blazer (instead of my Av). Is '04 the last year for this model?

I believe I read that 2004 will be the last year. I hardly see any at the local dealerships in my area. The 2dr zr2 version of the blazer is really nice. I settled on the s10 crew cab. Great truck.

Don't bet on it being around after 2004. Its only real competitor, the Explorer Sport, will not be around for 2004, and GM is likely to kill the 2 door (and 4 door) Blazer line. It is a shame. You can thank the d**n yuppies for it.

One of those s**t lickers almost hit the truck today. He was talking on a cell phone (against the law here I think) and drinking some latte thing. He was driving a Saab.

The 2 door Blazer goes away in '05, if I remember correctly. The 4 door is already dead. They've wanted to kill the 2 door for a while now, but sales remain pretty good, so they're still making them.
