Silverados not sent by rail from factory?

Getting closer, GM chat says truck is bayed in Lawrenceville, GA as of today. Guess well see how long it takes for it to find a ride to Greenville, SC.

Thanks. I figured they still used vehicle transport trucks but those are after they've traveled by train from the factory to a destination where they are put on transport trucks for the last leg of tr

They're picked up at the rail yard by the truck. The vast majority of Silverados/Sierras will spend time on a rail car.

I'll second this...I work right around the corner from Flint Assembly and drive by it every day. The are def shipping via Rail from there as well as some via truck transport.

mine was built in Mexico on Tuesday and was in Texas on  Saturday. salesman said it will be at the lot August 2nd. hopefully it has the spay  bedliner already on. going from a tundra to a trail boss!!
