My fav genre is Alternative and Rock.  Fav bands range from Counting Crows to Wallflowers to Dave Matthews

But I've been known to listen to a little of everything

What kind of music do you like? :music:

if you like elegia by new order i got one bad a$$ movie called more for you

it's a short film type thing (about 2-3 minutes) with clay figures or something.. i dunno but it's cool as #### and elegia is playing in the background

the 'movie' goes perfect with the song too.. it's truly an amazing piece

I voted other for two reasons.

1)  I like too many types to pick one of those.

2)  If you had had the basis for Rock, Country, Jazz, and most of those listed...........BLUES!!!!!!........I would have voted for it.   :(

I like ALOT of stuff, and play most of it.

Blues

Jazz

Rock  (Classic, Southern, and otherwise)

Alternative

Metal/Hard Rock

Soul

R&B (the REAL R&B not the stuff they call R&B now)

Folk

Bluegrass

Traditional

Country

and most antthing resembling those.

As long as it's not Rap or Hip Hop I like it.

For the majority I listen to alot of Classic Rock.  If I get tired of that then its to the R&B Oldies or Rap/Hip Hop - but mostly when I'm driving around so I can hear my stereo system booming :( ....but I get tired of that quick.

Too many genres that I like to name just one. So I'll put other, just take it as "all of the above".

Stuff I listen to right now......

The Band

Outlaws

Ying Yang Twins

Dr. Dre (Chronic 2001)

Marshall Tucker Band

Metallica

Korn (I love their new song, here to stay)

System of a Down

Limp Bizkit (But I don't care for Fred Durst much)

Charlie Daniels

This is just to name a few.

Country (not the "popish" crap, I like my country mixed with a rock edge; I listen to alot of Gary Allan, Chris Ledoux, etc)

Classic Rock

Alternative

Hard Rock/Metal

I listen to just about anything you can name.  Right now, my favorite album is the Flashdance Soundtrack.  Stupid movie, but the title song is what I used in stereo competions.  Love that one.  IF you get a chance to play it on a good stereo, there is a low not at 4 seconds in that is somewhere around 20-15 Hz.  Humans can barely hear that low, but damn you can feel it!

I'm with Elwood on this one.  I'm a big blues fan and most of the time that is what I listen to.  But I will listen to most everything else too.

I voted for country.  But it has to be up-tempo(best driving music), however they are some slow country songs that I like.  The main people I listen to are George Strait, Alan Jackson, and Brooks & Dunn.  When i'm not listening to country then it will probably be classic rock such as Skynyrd(I think thats the right spelling), Guns and Roses, and a little Metallica.

I voted for classic rock, but really I like portions of several types, including country (not the twangy, crying in your beer type, though  :(  ), alternative, and some POP and Blues.

On a big U2 kick now (probably will for some time! ).

They can keep the pre-packaged, choreographed, boy band, whiny, belly-button showing female music also (although the belly-button showing is actually OK w/ me  ;)  ;)  ).

Basically I can appreciate most musicians who write and perform their own music with their own stage moves, regardless of their music.
