2018 Silverado Drivers Door Issues

Hello  all, thanks for the advice in advance. I've got a 2018 Silverado Crew Cab 1500 SLT and I'm having some strange issues with the drivers door. First off, the dome light is always on, no matter what. My door panel controls work when the door is open, not when its closed. I can roll down my window when I open the door but once its shut and I'm driving down the road I no longer have control of it. There is no message on the display telling me something is wrong. Same thing with the locks, other windows, and mirror controls. All the other door panels work, I can roll up the passenger window using the controls on that door, but not the drivers door. Maybe once I got a message that the door is ajar, but for sure not every time. I was thinking it was the door ajar sensor but that doesn't make sense because all that should work whether the door is open or closed. Thank you and I will try to answer the questions the best I can but I am stumped.

Sounds like a wire in the door harness is pinched or partially broken. Open the door and you'll see the rubber boot that covers the harness, pull it back and look at the wires. It may not be obvious at first.
