alright thanks man. by the way, have you put your truck on a dyno or took it to a track? just from readin around here, seems like you've done quite a few mods?

Not yet. I didnt really want to hit the track because Id be to embarassed about my times! I do want to head to the dyno when I get some time. I hope to throw down at or around 290hp and 300lb-ft with the new cam. I have seen it done in other 5.3 trucks! Some extensive LS1Edit tuning will be in order while on the dyno too. That should squeeze out a bit more hp. I think a Yank TT3000 converter is next on my list of To Do's. I havent done a whole lot with my truck. Few things here and there. I wanted to go forced induction so bad but it just costs too much! What all do you have done to your truck??

The SLP 1.85 rockers are good for about a 15-20hp increase. SLP lists the gain as being in the 10-15 range but we've had alot of customers along with some recent magazine tests show close to 20. This is like doing a mild cam chance without actually going inside the motor. It is recommended that you chance the valve springs at the same time. Two of the packages come with these -

53302

Rocker Arm Package, LS1/LS6 w/LS6 Springs, Keepers

$569.99

53304

SLP Rocker Arm Package, LS1/LS6 w/SLP Springs, Titanium Retainers, Keepers

$789.99

You can save 10% on these and other SLP product through 12/21.

Hope this helps,

Tom

I was thinking of putting these on my truck also.

Do you think a ZO6 cam would give me more power than the rockers?

if they will both yeild about the same in HP I think I just may do rockers instead

The cam should give you a little more than the rockers. I talked to a customer a few weeks ago that picked up close to 25hp from the cam. It's a little more work for the install but you'll pick up abput 5-10hp over the 1.85s.

The 10% off special ended a few weeks ago but we're offering double online discounts for order placed on our website this week.

The horsepower numbers quoted are at the rear wheels.

Yes, we have two available. One from SLP and the other is made by More Performance. Both will get the job done but the More Performance tool is much easier to work with. Pictures of both can be found on our site.

Should you install rocker arms if your going to install a cam? Will this hurt, or maybe work good together? Also, are the 1.85 rockers better than the 1.8 ratio rockers? If not, i believe the Z06 comes with 1.8, but im not sure. You can go to gmpartscatalog and buy 16 rockers for less than $250.
