Amtrak

I went for an Amtrak ride yesterday from Youngstown Ohio to Newark NJ. It was a beautiful ride through some nice PA countryside including the famous "Horseshoe Curve" and the Amish farmlands outside Lancaster.

It was the first time I ever rode Amtrak, and if you have the time to kill I would recommend it. It's quicker to drive, but you don't see as much... and the price is very reasonable.

I had to drive a car home that I bought for my wife for Xmas, so that is why I decided to take the train. It cost just over $50 one-way on the train!

I drove home a 1993 Cutlass Supreme Convertible for my Xmas Present for my wife.... It's a very clean and well maintained car with a little less than 73K miles.

The train ride was very cool, and it's a great way to see the country... the bottom line though, is that if you want to travel by train, then you shouldn't be in a hurry!!!
