Wondering if anyone notices a noise when entering/exiting their driveway or other angled areas. No noises during normal operation but when turning from a flat surface to an incline or decline like a driveway, there is noise or series of noises that occurs, sounding like the steering rack is loose or something. It's not that loud, and does not shriek like metal on metal would do.

If I remember right the 2019 and 2020s had a new steering setup compared to the 2014-2018s. Maybe a symptom of the new system?

Any idea? Rather go into the dealer with some information on hand than just running up their blind as to potential cause.

Is it a click type sound? Just once and that's it?

Yes sometimes, but its a muffled click sound at best, and it's repetitive as if something was loose and going back and forth when the incline or decline is encountered.

I wouldn't compare it to a deck of cards shuffling, it is not like that.  I'll see if I can get it on video.

My first thought was that it was the body mounts were loose because the truck makes the noise when its rocking side to side.  That just doesn't make sense to me but who knows.  I'm not knowledgeable enough in this area.

Try running over speed bumps in a parking lot but only doing the front left or front right tire if that makes sense. Mine would make the noise when I would run over anything that would lift the drivers side front but not the passengers side

Ah ok, that is a good idea.

Had the same issue. Drove me nuts and the dealer could not figure anything out. After few months I start not paying attention to it and it doesn't bother me that much. It never increased in intensity or frequency. So I decided to let it be.

Good luck would be interested to find out when you find a solution.

Good way to duplicate it is driving over a peice of 4x4 going about 1mph with one of the front wheel.

You've said what it doesn't sound like, so what does it sound like?
