picked up my brand new 2021 today, very pleased except for the usb wont work, i have a usb flash drive, 2.0 16gb, the infotainment wont see it, no option is given to select it as an audio source, is fat32, is mp3s on it. any ideas? does the usb have to be a higher type, like a 3.0?

  Our local Ace Hardware made a chip key for my 2015 Silverado for$100.00; that's a lot less than the dealer. I suggest you give them a call and have your VIN,title, and/or registration with you.

  Trying to install a jump seat instead of center console, but have to remove the Bose sub. Any ideas on where to relocate that sub or replacement options for under seat with harness? Haven’t messed much with audio before.

  ...was looking to see what the 3 post OP had to say since they've got a personal issue here and 3 different threads they made within the same time period...just today....and then regurgitating that some owners on facebook and other forums have issues which is a small number out of total ownership of 3.0 Duramaxes.

  Just a guess based on the mentions I've seen on this forum... Failing coolant control valves (LM2, LZ0) No start / long crank issues (LM2) Thrust bearing failures (LZ0) Timing chain failures (LM2) Fingers crossed GM has more revisions and updates in the work because the 3.0 is awesome (when it can be trusted).
