Check air filter system with aftermarket cai

I installed an afe cai and around 2 times the screen on dash shows a message saying to check air filter system I reset it and goes away for a couple of days then it’ll do it again has anyone else had issues with a cold air intake my truck is a 2020 Silverado custom trail boss with a 5.3l

Are you talking about the air filter life indicator on the DIC?

 

On the S&B cai for the LM2, the first instruction is to disable it.

 

Don't know why.

Yes that’s it I just saw a video from s&b that says that I’ll disable it then thanks again
