Recently purchased a 2021 Chevrolet Suburban Premier trim level, in iridescent pearl tricoat

Question:  Is there an ‘On’ button / switch to turn on the overhead interior (dome) lights?

   😳

I see the ‘Off’ button that turn off the overhead lights when someone opens the doors.  But I can’t for the life of me find an

’On’ switch for all the interior lights.

If you want to turn them all on at night,

you have to open your door (while in motion lol   ☺️) to get all of them to come on!

We owned a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe, and the interior light switch had an ‘On, off, & normal’ toggle switch for the interior lights.

Not sure why GM chose to eliminate this

VERY user friendly lighting option!

A BIG THANK YOU to Member

’txchevy4ever’ with the answer!

And saved my sanity!    lol   ☺️

I did not know this & thank you!

He stated that holding down any of the

‘interior lights’ will activate ALL of the interior lights!     🙌🏼☺️💡

I tried it with my drivers one & absolutely works perfect!

Thank you again ‘txchevy4ever’

I absolutely appreciate it!

It was driving me nuts too, and I actually had to read the manual to find out.  Different than my previous 3 Chevy trucks....

We just picked up our Yukon AT4 yesterday and was trying to figure out the same thing. Will definitely give it a try.

has anyone figured out how to get the steps to light up when opening the door with the vehicle running.

They did not eliminate the interior lights. Press & hold either/or dome light on the ceiling between the driver & passenger seat. All the interior lights will turn on. Press & hold again to turn them off.

What about when you are opening just the liftgate to put something in the back, like groceries? This never lights up for me even though the entire interior lights up when I open the other doors.  I have a 2022 Tahoe RST. Thanks in advance - hope someone knows how to fix this.
