110V outlet not working properly

On a recently bought Silverado 2015 I get a green light on my 110V power outlet but it lasts about 1 minute then turns off.  I got the engine running

 

no AC and fan is off and I'm trying to power a one cup coffee maker.  I have had converters before that plug into a cigarette lighter and have had no trouble 

 

getting power to things.  Its on for only a minute then shuts down.  I do not have a manual on the truck and trying to find an answer online.  Any info 

 

on what I am doing wrong and or what the limits are on this outlet would be greatly appreciated.
