2016 chevy silverado 4.3L EcoTec3 V6

I need help finding out what year motors I could possibly use to replace a 2016 chevy silverado 4.3L EcoTec3 V6 I've had people tell me 2007 and up but I'm not sure. And help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

2014 to 2018 only. GM redesigned the 4.3 in 2014 to have direct injection
