Video editing

I have a short (13 sec) video from our Daytona race. The problem is that it is 2 secs race and 11 secs pit road asphault. I just want to cut most of it off at the end. How?

if you have XP you can use Movie Maker and it will have a bar that you can adjust and let you use what video you want

 

if not get Roxie VideoWave does the same thing but more advanced
