Thanks MCourson, I plan on getting the front airdam and bumper cover painted sometime so it will all match, I wanted the SS front bumper but I really don't feel like spending that much money on a bumper cover and also I want to be different

Nice truck. So when are ya going to get a 7" CST spindle lift and sit that bad boy on 35" tires? That'll look killer man!

no thank you on the lift, no offense but I'm a lowrider guy, also could you guys give me some tips on how to paint the front bumper pieces, also does anyone have any part # for a chrome front bumper I pushed a Expedition yesterday, couldn't stop in time the d**n sun blinded me, and it dented it right where a plate could go, I might just cover it up with a nice license plate for now until I can find a bumper

I took mine off before I painted it. There are a bunch of plastic tabs on the back that lock into slots in the bumper which are acessible from underneath. A pair of needle nose pliers and patience are all that is needed to remove it. Start on one side and work your way around.

Some people will tell you to sand it smooth before you paint it. I did not. I wiped it down with a lot of wax and grease remover and plastic prep. I hope you never armoralled it.

Then I gave it two coats of thick primer sealer with a flex additive. I sanded it down, and gave it two more coats of the primer/flex additive. Sanded it agian. By now all of the texture was filled in. I gave it three coats of baseocat with flex additive, and three coats of clear with flex additive.

Let it dry and snapped it back on. It's been three months and no cracking, peeling, or chipping.
