Engine check oil screens?

I was watching Trucks TV this morning and saw these advertised. They traps junk before it going in to your filter. Anyone ever try these?

I've seen these screens used in commercial applications. They have a small relief hole in case the thing becomes clogged.

 

K1500chevy97: I'm not sure if they make something specific for Corn Binder tractor motors. I think you have to measure the top of the filter and match a screen to it.

 

I've used them sometimes, more out of curiosity to see if anything is happening to my commercial equipment. A Used Oil Analysis is far better. You can always take a filter cutter and inspect your bypass filters too.
