Hey everyone I'm sure this has been asked before but I'm new here and don't quite know how to navigate the site yet

I'm looking at running pacesetter long-tube headers but I want to keep the two original cats on both sides of the cylinder banks the third one will be left out

My goal is to run a true dual system with an x-pipe to equalize the pressure(of course) an exhaust cutout and then two rear fenderwell dumps

I'm concerned about the ECU throwing the dreaded o2 sensor code or other issues/Hazzards I might run into

also looking for everyone here's suggestions on pretty much anything exhaust related or just information in general about these trucks since the whole thing is relatively new to me

Thank you!

If you cut the factory cats out and have them welded into the new exhaust it should be just fine as far as the emissions go.  You'll just need to weld o2 sensor bungs into the exhaust for the rear sensors and keep them as close to the rear of the cat for placement.
