Door Sill appliqué question

This is my first GM truck I’ve owned that is white and I find that the door sills tend to get dirty faster than my 2 previous black GM’s I’ve owned. I’ve tried using some door sill guards that they sell on eBay but I’m not happy with them. They are already starting to peel. My question is does anyone have any luck with an appliqué they’ve used that’s durable on their trucks?

I purchased the Putco stainless steel sill guards on ebay. They are also a GM accessory.

I had tried several of the stick on solutions from E-bay and Amazon. I've concluded they're a waste of money. I settled on the Bushwacker Trail Armor and they look great. The only thing I didn't really like was the gap between the two pieces on each side, but they do line up with the door lines at least. It's more expensive, but worth it to me.

This is the product I've used.  I've had no issues and it's invisible.  I did clean the area very well and wipe with alcohol before applying it and to be fair, I do not get in and out of my truck that many times per day.  Still I applied it in early 2020 and you still can't tell it's there.

I hadn't seen the Trail Armor pieces for our gen trucks. It looks like a good area for rust to develop when you get salty water stuck in there during the winter.
