SwRI is who the big OEM's go to for this sort of thing.
In the above the ring and bore plus valvetrain power is roughly the same for 0W30 to 0W16 but both fall apart in the 0W8. Overall the only looser is bearing friction which Stribeck told us decades ago.
There is much to ponder in that reference material. That was a good find @OnTheReel
Can you see airbag module data? If you can, buckle the belt and see if the data set shows that the belt is buckled. If its showing that it is not buckled on the data but its physically buckled, then it probably needs the buckle.
